I’m Mary Hunt — a formally trained interior designer and a self-taught artist, with a deep appreciation for the beauty and potential in the world around us.

My primary focus is interior design, where I bring together creativity, functionality, and a thoughtful understanding of how our surroundings shape the way we feel, live, and connect. I believe a well-designed space should do more than look beautiful. It should make you feel at ease, support the way you live and work, and give you room to grow into the person you want to be.

Because what’s the point of creating a life if we aren’t working toward living our truest, most beautiful one?

My approach is rooted in seeing potential where others might see problems. Before we start from scratch, I look at what can be repaired, restored, reimagined, or given a new purpose. I believe our spaces become more meaningful when we honor what already exists, surround ourselves with things we love, and make thoughtful choices about what we bring into our lives.

Whether I’m redesigning a room, breathing new life into a forgotten piece, or creating something entirely new, my goal is always the same: to create beauty with purpose.

Because good design isn’t just about how a space looks. It’s about how it makes you feel, how it serves you, and how it helps you live.

Let’s create a space that feels like you — and supports the life you want to live.

My Design Philosophy

Creating spaces that support the life you want to live.

When I design a space, I want to understand more than your aesthetic preferences. I want to understand you — how you live, what matters to you, what you love, what you need, and how you want to feel in your home.

A beautiful room is only successful if it works for the person living in it. Good design isn't simply about collecting beautiful things or following trends. It's about understanding how individual pieces, colors, textures, and functions work together to create something that feels cohesive, intentional, and uniquely yours.

I believe the best spaces don't just look beautiful. They make life feel better.

My approach begins with seeing the whole picture. I look beyond individual rooms and furnishings to understand how a space functions, how it flows, and how it supports your everyday life. I look for what is already working, what deserves a second life, and what could be transformed with a little creativity and a fresh perspective.

My philosophy is rooted in three simple principles:

Sustain what you love.
I believe meaningful design doesn't require starting over. The things we already own often hold memories, character, and stories worth preserving. I love finding new ways to use what you have, breathing life into old pieces, and creating beauty without unnecessary waste.

Add what you need.
Thoughtful design is about being intentional, not accumulating more. Sometimes a space needs a missing piece, a better layout, a different color, or a creative solution. Every addition should have a purpose and contribute to the bigger picture.

Design for the life you want to live.
Our surroundings influence how we feel, how we function, how we connect with others, and how we move through our days. A well-designed space can make daily routines easier, encourage creativity, invite connection, and create room for the things that matter most.

Ultimately, I believe our homes should reflect who we are while supporting who we are becoming. They should be beautiful, functional, personal, and sustainable — not just spaces to look at, but spaces to truly live in.

My job is to help you see the possibilities, bring the pieces together, and create a space that feels like you — only more intentional.

Because good design isn't about creating a perfect home. It's about creating a home that helps you live a more beautiful life.
